Hi all,
I spotted this while looking for motors. It sounds easy to use but I'm skeptical of the sound quality. It says it'll accept MP3 files but the best playback quality is a 12K sample rate, which is comparable to an ISD Chipcorder. Good price, though, and it looks easy to hack.

Yes, I saw that player and the hack a few weeks ago, but I've been spoiled by MP3 quality playback. Sure can't beat that price, though, and the hack looks easy to do.

I think I'll take a look at the mp3 too, I would like to have some better quality sound on a couple things.

If there is anybody in the Ontario area I've seen a 1GB MP3 player with mini speakers for 14 dollars, I don't have a link or anything but you can't go wrong with it!...since it's a regular player you can hook it up to any speakers you have
