Hey all. It's been a while since i have been able to get back to this project but today was a good day to build. I know have the shack skinned. This is 1/4 inch sheathing foam. I was worried how it would hold to the wind but the gusts have been up to 35mph today and she's standing strong. and now i am ready to move on to the detail work......

I just checked in over here and found your thread. I am so enjoying it. Thanks for posting all the pics and videos (those especially). If I'm having so much fun watching I can only imagine the little kids on halloween night!

Yeah, these kinda threads are cool. I love seeing something come together. There is a lot of movement to the prop that makes it scream "more, more". Keep us coming back

BTW I love your ideas on wiper motors. I still have 4 doing nothing.

Hey all. Well the clock is ticking and i am way behind. Good thing i am taking a weeks vacation the week of Halloween. Anyways the shack prop is just about done and i am moving on to a crypt and fcg prop. I did put up a vid on our garage of evil page of the shack with 2 of 3 timers in place and the voice track for our skelly. Chris at discount voice overs did it for me. If you suck at voice work like i do head on over to his sight and he will hook you up fast and furious. So the vid shows the first stage going off (floor boards) and the second stage (our talking skelly) i could not get the 3rd timer in as i was trying to beat a thunder storm. But the rest is pretty much plug and play from here on out. So it may be the start of October before i have it all fired up again with light fog and a night vid. The vid can be found here. voice and timer test - Garage of Evil!! Now on to the fcg and crypt.
