    Meet Mr. Pumpkin.

He will be are main greeter for this year's haunt show. He will stand over 10' tall, arms will be animatronic as with his hands making gestures. The head will have moving eyes, talking mouth, and do basic facial expressions. I plan to build three of these for this year's haunt.

We're using our (GYS) eye kit to move the eyes. Next we will be adding the jaw animatronic hardware. I hope to have the head piece completed by the end of March and then I can start in on the body.

I will update progress here as we go forward with him.

I am very excited about him and can't wait until he is ALIVE!!!

    Impressive sculpting work!

What's the head made of? I assume it needs to be flexible for the mouth to work properly. This one will be fun to watch come together.

Can't take credit on the sculpting work. An individual here, REELMAGIK .who I think monitors this forum, molded it for me. I was very impressed with his work. We originally found it on ebay.

Not sure what the material is, but it tough and we could not even cut it with a razor.

I couldn't see it initally either, but I rightclicked on the "X" and chose "show picture" in IE, and it appeared.

Joel, what are your plans for the jaw movement if it's rigid? Sounds challenging. Are you going to make a hard cut and hinge the bottom portion?
