Sometimes it takes awhile and you might not get on there anyway. It all depends on Mark.

It used to update twice a year. Now, maybe once a year.

The hardest part of having a good site isnt the development, but keeping it maintained. Many times I have had a great idea, spent tons of hours in development, then lost steam a couple years down the road.

A lot of the links in monsterlist are dead. I use hauntproject now. Monsterlist needs to go through their site and clean it up.

True pain and suffering he brought to them all
Away ran the children to hide in their beds,
for fear that the devil would chop off their heads..."

Monsterlist is dying it seems. I think Hauntproject is becoming the new place to go.

I think you may have something there...Websites are getting to be an old hat way of dispensing information. With the forums and now new social groups sites, the ability to upload pics and embedded videos just wasn't possible or practical 10 years ago as space constraints didn't allow it.
Nowadays, forums and social sites allow whole photo albums and Youtube embedded videos just makes it easier to show your stuff.

Plus don't forget that for a while somebody was taking all of the DIY projects from these sites and trying to sell them on ebay. I'm sure that this kept a lot of people from posting up there how-to instructions for fear that someone was gonna steal them and make money off of their idea.
