Here are my entries... these are the props that were most complimented by the TOT's and others that visited our yard this year =)
My husband's cow head creature:
And my stained glass window, that I created using Terra's tutorial =)
MY favorite prop of 09' was the pumpkin king in the last pic =)

How did you do the fog coming out of the cows skull. Was it a mini fogger or pvc routing into the head.

curl, the fog coming out is cool. and not only is the pumpkin cool, but i like the lit up crows you have there. your stained glass window is very pretty. but what is interesting to me is what is that flying creature to the side?

My Magic Mirror for the 2009 season. –
11-14-2009,06:57 PM
Hello all,
This was my contribution for Halloween 2009
It is an Imagineerieing based Magic Mirror:
Magic Mirror Prop Help?
I documented everything in the thread above, but it is page 8 that has the meat and potatoes of the build, along with the explanations. I do have video too, but that is going to have to wait a while before I post it. It will probably be a YouTube link.
I will add that this was quite a fun project and I did enjoy myself on Halloween. All the work and many trips to the store was worth it. I only wished it was less windy that night, and also that it got darker sooner, then I believe I would have had more TOTs.
Now comes the next holiday to conquer....Christmas >:} (evil grin).

Animated Evil Tree –
11-17-2009,09:16 PM
This animated evil tree was the king of our Haunted House for 2 years.
Both arms move independently and are controlled by a hand-held wireless control.
The eyes light-up as well (they're red but in the low-light video they appear white). Smoke also belches from his mouth.
He's 9 feet tall and made of Monster mud (joint compound and paint) soaked into heavy burlap and then airbrushed. His skeleton is made of wood. He moves using pneumatics.
