Thanks everyone! As Big Nick pointed out it was made out of foam insulation boards carved to look like wood. I used the tutorial by SpookyBlue as a guide. The metal straps are also foam with styrofoam balls cut in half for the bolts. Here are some in-progress pics. I have more pics and a step-by-step description on my website.

Thanks for all the compliments on the Crawling Skeleton, everybody!
HalloweenDarkAngel, DaddyWoofdawg and Big Nick: I DID have a turorial for the skeleton. It was listed on both the MonsterList and HauntProject, but this past October AOL totally shut down their AOL Hometown site (which my tutorial was on). I guess I could re-post it here on the forum in the tutorial section. The bad thing is the main part needed to build it hasn't been available for some time now. It's a dual-shafted 18 RPM DC Motor that I originally got from SurplusCenter.com, so it's about impossible to build it like I did.
I thought eventually I would see if I could build a less complicated one, maybe using two single shaft motors. Just haven't gotten to that project yet. LOL
Anyway, here's a pic of the motor assembly and the swivel bolts that allow the arms to rotate:

Theres more pics of the assembly on this Photobucket page:

Hallorenescene: Those are just tombstones from the Dollar store. I took a saw and cut the bottoms off at an angle, then glued PVC pipe to the back of them. I think it makes your cemetary more realistic if you mix in a few of these with the straight-up tombstones.
Thanks for the compliment!!
