I have a bag of bones that I want to age. What would be the simplest way to add some years to the bones? Should I use stain or is there a better method?

I use stain. You can either use the gel stain (wipe on, wipe off) or mix oil-based stain and water in a tub and dip. Then you can rinse off the bones with a garden hose. Dip and rinse until it looks right. It does smell for a while, but is very realistic and long lasting IMHO.

I use stain also but make sure it's WATER BASED or you'll have melted bones.
