I found some cool motors. I bought 2, and figured someone else might be interested...
goto ebay and do a search for 24 DC 10 RPM Reversible Gear Motor Merkle

I think there are 8 left. $2.25 buy it now 8.00 shipping...

There should be a topic or something for people to announce their finds.

Kinda slow for props I am thinking.

That means 1 revolution every 6 seconds.

    A slow rising body perhaps?

Yes, slow. But I will add it to my collection for when the spark of creativity hits.

Does any one know the seller? They must be thinking they hit on a hot new trend with all of us buying them.

very solid and heavy. INSANE torque... unstoppable.
probably too slow for FCG at 15 vdc. looking for some 24vdc transformers. I know they're around here somewhere.

you can get 24VDC from a computer PSU, its usually only a few amps worth, but may be enough to run your motors.

Alternatively I've found that laptop PSUs can often power 24VDC stuff, they are normally about 19-21VDC but its enough
