have not gotten around to vectorizing your pics yet. Too much work work.

I did get around to snapping a few shots of my Tombstone mask thoughts.

So I cut the phrase on Flexisign Pro and the cut on my vinyl cutter and then removed the letter (or anyplace I want to etch). I then stuck the vinyl pattern to the foamboard and took black spraypaint and began using light coats of paint. It etched it slowly and uniformly. I got to about 1/8" deep and then too my hot wire router tool and went carefully along the middle of each letter to give it a "v" shape (its the effect I wanted).

This is just a first run. One could elaborate with any graphic design or edges included and just keep going.
