This is the second year I have had this guy, and he seems to work pretty well.

This is a video of his operation when I FIRST built him:

He runs Off a Simple Small bore/throw Cylinder setup Run through a Prop-1 (For a Random "Thrash" cycle) and is triggered by an FM Remote Control.

I have stepped away from using Pressure mats and IR sensors for triggers, since people tend to stand there and TRY to trigger them. With a hand held remote I can wait until they have given up then trigger it as they are walking away for added effect. =)

Here is a little more dressing up I did for this season. He still needs a little work, but he seems to do the job.

Great prop nfmmalice. The "timely" use of the remote control must keep the ToT's on their toes! I second billman's question...any build pics?

I'll try and throw something together.

It was built using those Cylinder/Wheel Setups that were on that Surplus Website a While Back. I ended up buying like 40 of them. Hehe.

Let me see if I can draft something up.

I use a remote control similar to this one:

Rolling Code UHF 2 Channel Remote Control DIY Kit K157 - eBay (item 150287254858 end time Nov-22-08 21:15:42 PST)

But the ones I found were single channel, and were only ~$16 each.

Wow, that is one of the creepiest "simple" props I've ever seen. It's just enough creepy to get inside your head and freak you out. My kinda build.
    Recipe for haunting success-

Artist's eyes, surgeon's hands, and the heart of a child.
