Thread: jack in the box prop

I want to build a clown room for next year with several statics, a pneumatic popup clown and for the main event a jack in the box. I was wondering if anyone out there has seen one done before. I'm thinking of a motor to turn the handle and of course a pop up out the top. I plan on one that's about 4'x4'x4'.
Any ideas?

If you want it to come up taller. You could use a scissor rig. That way the box dosen't have to be as tall.

I like that idea. I do want it taller. My son also said he would record the song on his guitar in a real slow heavy metalish sound.

I like that way he used the rope light too. I bought a 100 ft roll to use some on my coffin bar and have a bunch left over.

This thread was on here the other day. I have not tried to make one with pvc. But check it out.
