Ok, I just have to say that thing is creepy. The kids are going to love it. Are you hanging it in the chamber or having it sit on the floor?

    Awsome!

I wanted to make an uber spider for my roof this year but it never came to be. Glad I didn't with the crazy wind we got this week because he would have been trashed for sure.

I have it hanging in the corner, above the soon to be constructed pod-o-spider eggs, and above a just-ok inflatable black widow (ok, I got it on sale). I sprayed the hanging cord black and it is virtually invisible in the blacklight. The legs kept shlumping down so I chain-tied the legs and raised them, also painted that string black. Now it looks like it's climbing down and away from the wall. The legs were not showing up very well so I sprayed them neon orange. Sort of a lava-spider... Pics will follow in the morning.
