I'm planning on using a strobe light in one of the upper windows of my house and I was wondering what I should due regarding the potential epilepsy issue. The strobe will be turned to its lowest setting and the light will be somewhat blocked/dimmed by the curtain and Scream plaque in the window in front of the strobe. I should also note that the strobe light will be placed under the window (inside) and not placed directly into the window.
I know that haunted houses that use strobes put up signs warning about their use, but wouldn't putting up a sign not really "work" seeing as how both the side and the strobing light could both be seen outside at the same time?
As long as it's not directly in front of someones eyes the fixture I think you should be alright it's one of those things don't look directly into the light source.
I've also read another thread (that I can't find for some reason), that it doesn't matter if they can see the light directly or not. It's all in the speed of the flash.
