    Question Flood Lights - Clear or Frost? – 10-23-2008,11:47 AM


    Is it better to have the frosted flood lights or the clear? Or does it matter? I noticed lowes and walmart have the 85W blue, red floods that are frosty. Yet Home Depot has the 100W that are clear.

    Frosted are the best, the color is deeper and richer. Just be careful when you handle them because you can scratch the lens and chip the paint. The clear colored lenses tend to have more white light in them. The color temp is a lot better with the frosted over the clear. So go with the Frosted GE that Lowes and Wal mart sell.
