Default An idea for hands

I've been sitting here thinking about how to make some cheap, nice looking, realistic hands. I've got an idea, but haven't tried it yet. Tell me what you guys think.

I'm gonna put vinyl gloves on my husband (if he'll let me) and then wrap his hands in duct tape. I think if I have the vinyl gloves on I may not need to cut a slit up the fingers to get them off. In fact, I may only need to use a minimal amount of slits.

So I take it off and repair the slits. Then fill it up with whatever. I guess the best thing to do after that would be a coat of liquid laytex? What do you think?

And an idea for the fingernails..you can get really (I mean REALLY) cheap fake fingernails in the makeup section of a store and just cut them down to the length you need. Maybe use paper mache to buid up the knuckles? What do you guys think?

Here is another link for hands. I made these a couple years ago and I get a ton of comments about them. Even have one hanging in my office. Best part about these is that you can reposition the fingers.
