HOORAY! I am *finally* done my demon skulls (a la Stolloween.)
I am building a '3-headed monster' armature for them.
I did the eyes using glow in the dark street hockey balls. Cut them in half and then glued a paper iris/pupil to the inside of each half. Then stuck the ball halves into the eye sockets. The effect is amazing! I kept catching them out of the corner of my eye while I was working on something else and they were giving me the heebie-jeebies. Plus, they glow in the dark for extra creepiness.
Go to STOLLOWEEN for the full construction instructions. I will warn you though, they take *forever*!! I have been working on them for 2 months.

Well.
My armature snapped and my demon skulls connected with my drive-way at about 50mph. All the teeth snapped as well as the eye-brows... couple chunks out of the horns, but overall - they are still basically intact. Which still doesn't make me feel any better. So sorry to hear that Bliss... I've my fingers crossed that you can fix them up with little effort and time...and that you don't pull all your hair out in the meantime!

Awww, that really sucks. I'm sure you can fix em up though, even if they're not perfect, they'll still look great. I love Stolloween's work also....he's such an inspiration.

DOH!!!! Sorry to hear about the ghoulish accident. Hopefully enough in tact to restore. I'm sure it will still be a hit!!!
