POWERFUL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR | AllElectronics.com

Has anyone had a problem removing this wiper arm nut or am I just not getting enough spinach?

Mine won't budge. I am making the arm turn though. What are some other wiper motors that I could run down to the auto store and purchase with less problems? I did bypass the circuit and get it to turn slower.

Take a towel and wrap around the arm so it doesnt hurt hand and hold arm so it doesnt move and loosen nut. Have to use a little bit of muscle

It doesn't look rusty but you may want to give it a squirt of liquid wrench. If the towel method doesn't get it, stick it in a vise and grunt away!

ok, I'll keep trying. I don't have a vise so I'll have to figure something out to hold it. The towel might do the trick.

Haven't had to tackle one of these myself, but is there a chance it's a left handed thread?
If not, PB Blaster and an impact wrench are the way to go.
