Thread: My Lanterns Complete!

Well not all of them, but I'm on my way with the 1 I just completed! I ended up buying the 15.00 ones from partycity here. Yes they are a little pricey, but then my wife found an exact replica at a thrift store, and it was $11.00. So really I didn't get too ripped off, plus the ones from party city are slightly easier to rip apart.

Anyways, here it is. I've opened it up, tore out the guts, and replace the little battery operated bulb with a flickering bulb. Put in a socket, hooked up some wire and this is my final product!







This was the original bulb in the lantern, although the bulb itself is not in this picture, it must have fallen out and I lost it in the demo process....

Turned out great! One down.....??? to go?
