    Hey gang,

I couldn't resist the $39 price tag of the Grandin Road coffin and was curious if any of you have had experience with it and have any suggestions on how to reenforce it for long term use.

I know its made with masonite or something similar and that it can be broken down for storage, but I'd like to make it more sturdy and hopefully get a little more bang for my buck.

    Thanks!

oh, here's a link for those who want to take a look at it:

This is my second year using this cofiin. The tape strips on mine were useless this year but nothing duct tape can't fix.I just draped creepy cloth over the areas I used duct tape.Hubby had to put a screw in it that stripped out but nothing major.
It is a great prop esp for that price I gave 79 for mine last year.
Last year I had it standing up with a mummy in it and had no problems.
I do leave mine in the rain so that my be the reason for the tape not sticking.
I have no suggestions for long term use except just to fix whats broken until it breaks into pieces.
