I have been building a gargoyle with monster mud spray foam and chicken wire for the last week. Everything was good and dry and coated it with an old primer sealer i found in the basement. Now for some reason it seams on spots where i applied monster mud has gone soft and spungy underneath but it is dry to the touch on the outside. Seems heat doesnt work....will anything dry this?
I still need to finish a few spots and a final coat but worried i may not have time now or may have goofed it all up.
Please help.

It looks great so far. Sorry I've never worked with it but, have read that it can take a few days for it to dry. Good luck.

You didn't put oil base on it did you? If so It could take a while for it to cure. If you used latex paint in the MM, But It's not ruined. Looks like you have done a great job so far.
