I got one of these witch I cant seem to get the cauldren to smoke and light up

It may be that you aren't putting enough water in it. That is the problem 90% of the time. Make sure you add plenty of water.

make sure the base is plugged into the cauldron also

how much water where do I stop filling to

will it kick on once I have the right water amount in or do you have to wait a little while

will the lights go on once the water is in or should they go on right away

I assume its stirring though?

The instructions say to add 2 cups water to the pot to activate it,
You can add much more but i would not add more than 4 cups myself,
Make sure all the plugs are connected securely: if no activation return it if you can.
