Thread: What is up with Haunted Village?

I ordered animation maestros over the phone last Tuesday and asked when I should call to check the status. They said this Tuesday because they are doing their haunt Monday and Wednesday or something like that so I called and I couldn't get through, the automated system said their mailbox was full and wouldn't even ring the phone. I tried the fax and it was not connected to a machine- the line just rings. Does anyone know how to contact them besides email. Or know where I can get 2 maestro ones and 2 pirs for the same price?

I saw that all of they're buy buttons are disabled, have a feeling they are swamped with orders...........

Sparky, I've been trying since Aug to get a couple of their AM II's and some PIR modules to go along with the AM I's that I bought last year. To date I have run into the same issues. No reply to emails, full voice mail, unanswered fax machine.

I have actually talked to a person there 3 times with the last being Sept 30. Every time its the same story "We're out right now but expect a shippment next week call back then and we can fill the order" When I call I either don't get through or get the same story.

They have a great product, easy to use, small, reasonable price and flexible with the option to add the PIR Sensor or Sound modules, but Their customer service sucks! I think their focus and interest is with the Haunted Houses they are operating. However, if they want to continue to sell to this market they need to focus on the product side a lot more.

I have since given up on getting anything from them and instead purchased a Pico-Boo 105 from Fright Ideas. Ordered on line through their web site, used pay pal and It arrived in 4-5 days.

I am going to try after Halloween to get the PIR modules to go with what I have but most likely will not order any more of their controllers. Let us know if you are sucessful in your quest.
