Thread: Newb Needs Lighting Ideas

I'm on the lookout for how to tackle my flood lighting ideas. I basically want to create a basic graveyard in my frontyard but want colored lighting effects.

I want something like these lighting effects:

Which I'm guessing is flood lights with GELS over them? I know I can get the gels probably at my local "americanDJ" store. What about flood lights with the shells that you screw into em. Do I just pick these up at home depot? Any recommendations, either locally or online, or anyway I can tackle this? Thanks guys!

I bought the light stakes a home depot and used low watt bulbs.

Now what about these PAR30 LEDs, I keep reading on here. Are these a better selection?

Another lighting question. For a cementary, Which is better, the small flood lights pointing on each tombstone or larger ones from the side?

was thinking of using the CFL smaller ones and just spray painting them blue? Any recommendations!
