Hi, I'm new here. I know this is a mortal sin but my haunt just got some major publicity and right now it is kind of lacking in the scare. I need a prop that can compensate for less than $150 or something I can throw together quickly! Don't yell at me! : ( I am sad too! And I don't have an air compressor so pneumatics are out; also grave stone popups I have. I need like a lunger or window type popup. Please help! In deep doodoo!

    Thanks!

    Only serious ideas though ASAP.

    Light socket/motion sensor
    Socket to AC plug adapter
    Splitter
Floodlight or light or strobe light (you get the drift)
    Computer speakers
    Audio source

Assuming you have most of the above, you can build this in the $20 range.

Plug computer speakers and light into the motion sensor setup.
Plug audio source into always on plug, if not battery powered.

Play loud screams, train noise, etc etc in constant loop. When triggered, the light and speakers blare at your guests.

    *****************************

Borrow an air compressor. Or buy a cheap one at wally world! Build an air cannon... if interested, let us know.

Electric leaf blowers are also an option, just make sure you don't overload the setup.

If you are located in Maryland, this could be a good scare!

Seems like they could have come up with a better sign than a pumpkin! The house will just appear decorated... ugh. Government.

    NOTHING beats an actor scare:
    - a big guy all in black standing stock still... until he grabs you
    - a person with any power tool
    - a guy behind a drop panel ( see :59s into [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhviACtA8gM]this video[/ame] )
