I went to spirit.com and ordered their $60 low lying fogger and I have been reading on multiple sites how often the ice must be replaced....I wanted to know if any1 had tried using dry ice and if it works......plz help

I don't think it really matters what kind of ice you use. This fogger is just junk. I wouldn't waste your money on it. I tested one out last year and the problem is the fog doesn't have enough time to sit and cool and the output is poor.
Your money is better spent on buying at least a 700 watt or higher fogger and building a fog chiller.

I have two of them and the Ice does not last long at all and I can't see dry ice being much better. The cavity has to be kept packed full of ice or the fog doesn't stay low, I fill mine about every half hour or sooner if they are maxed out.

OK let me through my hat in here too and say I sold mine with in a week after I got one, last year.
maybe if there was a great deal on it and you were to take the chiller box off somehow.
but, that sounds to much trouble there though.
