I'm starting my dungeon walls and I haven't seen the way I'm doing my mortar anywhere, so I thought I'd share. Might be an already-known idea, but I needed a reason to post some pics

I got the 4x8 1-inch Styrofoam from Home Depot and drew my outlines for my bricks. I got my wife's heating gun that she uses for her scrap booking and went to town "melting" the mortar.

I think it came out pretty good....more pics to come when I get it painted.

Hey that's a good solution. Beats having to deal with the styrofoam particles that go everywhere.

Thank you so much everyone for the compliments!! Didn't think I would get such a great response

Thought I'd go ahead and throw this fairly finished wall pic into the mix. Still need to mount them, put my lanterns on there and do my big scream tv in the middle. It looks better in person.

    Thanks again!

Hey that is a very great idea! Can any heat gun work? I have one from last year that I purchased from HD to melt some PVC.. Is that the same heat gun? I would've thought it would burn the foam and would take a while to melt... I could be wrong...
