Thread: Where can I get pink or blue foam near Sacramento?

Help! I have been to the 2 big home DIY retailers in my area (Lowes and Home Depot) and they do not carry either pink or blue foam (also known as XPS foam).
I have to build a full-size deck cannon and a pirate treasure chest & styrofoam just wont do the trick! Building out of lumber is out of the question as there is a weight limit requirement.
I have also checked out a lumber yard here and they don't carry it either.

I could go as far as the Bay Area (will be there this weekend for Fleet Week and the 49ers game) but need to get at least two 4'x8' sheets very soon! Anybody have advice? If I can't buy it here I would be willing to pay someone to buy and ship to me...

I had heard there was a place out off of Hwy 50 and Sunrise Bl, but I never got out there to check it out. I live on the central coast near Monterey and I can't find it here either. I'm thinking it's either not up to Calif code or it just isn't needed in our mild weather. Not sure, but it' definetly is hard to find!
