I'm working on my FCG and hope to finish up this weekend. I do have a question on how the screw eyes/pulleys for the head and hands should be positioned for the best effect.

I have seen some FCG's where these are all aligned in a row, yet others look like the hands are offset from the head. Which looks best? Does it even matter? And if the hands are offset I believe they should probably be slightly foward of the head - sound right?

Thanks in advance for what I know will be great advice.

Great site here. Haven't gotten a lick of work done today!

Definitely the arms should be out in front of the head. This gives your ghost a 3-dimensional look, like she's reaching toward you, instead of appearing "flat".
    I...have many names...

Here is where your own imagination and desired look comes into play. Position the hands off to the side or one/both in front. I have one off to the side but slightly forward while the other is further forward. Try to out in multiple poses. You will find one that look the best with your FCG and its setup/environment.

Post a pic when you have it.
