I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with TowerPro servos? Specifically the MG995 model. I was able to get a real good price on 20 of them but I had 2 crap out on me this weekend. They were being used for the jaw movement and the nod movement on a 3- axis I'm working on. The gear train seems to be jammed but the motor is free. When I reassemble the gear train it binds up again. Any suggestions? Thanks bfjou812

Check the teeth on each of the gears. Usually one of the teeth breaks off and gets wedged somewhere in the gear train. That has been my experience with R/C aircraft servos.

I already checked all of that out, that was my first thought. It almost looks like the "points" where the gear shafts attach to in the top part of the servo are oblong instead of being round. Almost like it was wobbling within the cover. Thanks, Jeff
