Cool with a capital "C"!!!
I can't wait to add a mirror effect to mine. I've been dying to find a use for this Ikea frame:
IKEA | Wall decoration | Frames | UNG DRILL | Frame
I think I'll save it for an effect like yours... thanks again for sharing and inspiring!"Look Honey, they have... uhm... 'Dead People' in the backyard!"
"Your body's dying. Pay no attention, it happens to all of us!"

Shadow Man, I'm jealous. Ikea doesn't sell that frame in the states.

Very nice. How did you get the image of the skull in the wood? Did you paint the wood-lines and the skull? Very cool.

I used a wood burner tool to burn in the skull and line designs. then I used a heat gun to give the wood a slightly singed look before a coat of stain. Okay.. I didn't ACTUALLY have a wood burner tool, so I used a cheap soldering iron I had lying around. Ya gots to use the tools at your disposal.

Wow, amazing artistic talent to get the wood lines so realistic.
