I just bought a styrofoam head and a black dress from Goodwill. I would like to use a black wig and make a really scary woman's face or the woman from "The Grude". Any suggestions as to how to paint the face? Thanks in advance!

If it was me, I'd do paper maché over it first, smooth it out really well, then do acrylic paints on that.

Using paper maché, you can make a longer crooked nose, build out the brows and create a pointy chin... or whatever features you want.

If you plan on doing the Grudge ghost, then I actually would just use some black/gray paints to create dark eyes and around the facial creases and drape the wig well. This would be the easiest route.

I think getting the eyes right will be the biggest challenge. Maybe you can find a set on the internet or from a pic of a Donna The Dead prop and print out and glue onto the head then cover with the hair like FG suggested.
