Thought you might like to see my Mini FCG. It started out as a hanging prop from Walgreens. Don't know if they have them this year but they had a pair of hands sewn to their chest. Just had to add wires for arms.

WOW, that is a fabulous idea...did you use a typical FCG rig, and it works fine? You could always dip him in RIT and let him glow under a black light too...

Did you have to redo the whole arm to make them flexible?

It did not have arms at all. Only two hands sewn to the chest. I just used a board for the rig and added a slow rpm motor. It uses a nine volt battery and will run for 5-6 hours. You can see it in the video. I also sprayed it with black light hairspray so it does light up from a UV source. The face and hands are plastic, so I needed something that would stick to them. Put my hand up there for size reference.

    Hey Indiana,

You did a great job! I'm not mechanically inclined at all so I am having great difficulty trying to make the actual "rig" for making your skelly move. If you could give me step by step instructions I would greatly appreciate it ). Especially since it looks simple enough lol

It is extremely easy. Take a thin board and drill a hole for the motor shaft to stick through. Mount the motor to the board. The motor I had was a 12 VDC, 9-10 rpm motor that I hooked up to a 9 VDC battery clip. I had to create the "crank" by drilling and tapping a small hole in bar stock for a screw to mount to the shaft of the motor. As far as the ghost goes, just took thin wire and made miniature arms just like the big rigs and poked them into the hands. Used thin fishing line that I repainted flat black and hung the whole thing out in a tree. Then hit it with some black light hairspray. Put a black light below it and presto. It is very impressive in the dark.
