Thread: small remote for cd player

I'm in need of a small hand held remote to control a cd player I'm using for a scene. Ideally it would be a simple off/on control thing that an actor could hold in his hand. Ideas on where to purchase? Price I can expect?

I'm sure it depends on what kind of a CD player you have. If its a nice unit for your home theater system then you can probably buy a "learning" remote at Best Buy or a place like that for less than $20. If you have an iPod you can also purchase an RF controlled remote that plugs into the top of the ipod and has a little "fob" thing with the buttons - it probably costs a bit more. If you are talking about one of the cheap CD players then the "learning" remote might work but I'm not sure.
