What's the best way to suspend gruesome things in water?
If I get some latex props, do I have to remove them from the "sealed" jars afterwards or will they be ok?
If I cram an expensive "alien baby" type thing into a large fishbowl with distilled water and some food coloring (or tea) I don't want it to rot out on me in a couple of years.
Is it safe to leave it sealed, or should I crack open the container and dry everything out until the next year?
Any tips on gruemsomeness? I've heard talc adds some nice murkiness to the water also.

If you leave the latex prop submerged in the water for the whole year it will rot in about a year, but if you leave it in for maybe a week, it will be okay just let it dry out and then you can keep doing that just dont leave it in the water for prolonged periods of time, because the prop will fall apart.

Also, tea will turn in about a week if it just sits out. I don't know if it will happen in a sealed container, but open it will.
