I know...I know...
It's way too late in the season to think about changing now......I'm a glutton for punishment....
My wife has talked me into changing my Yard Haunt this year. In the past I've had a graveyard. This year....I'm doing a Clown/Circus Theme. I've searched on here and gone through several posts and I've come up with some good ideas and have read and seen come inspirational things.
But...I need more help. Here is what I'm thinking so far:
HAUNTED TICKET BOOTH: I'm thinking a quick plywood ticket booth with something inside, like a clown or dead person. Have a strobe light going and maybe have some fog in it. I'll have a plexi glass window with some blood on it.
CLOWNS: lots of scary looking clowns. Maybe some animated with a shiatsu or a oscilating fan for head movement.
TRAPEZE: I was thinking about having a trapeze overhead with some bloody arms hanging from it.
JACK IN THE BOX: I've thought about this and may do it, but I don't know yet.
Any other idea or thoughts? I could use your creativity to get me started.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Ticket booths usually have a large, hand-sized hole where the glass meets the ledge. Kind of reminds me of the hole in a guillotine. You could add a guillotine blade to the front of the ticket booth, and a severed hand just inside the window (freshly cut), still holding tickets.

How about a body prop of a juggler, then arrange skulls on wire to look like he is juggling them ?

Went to Universal Studios about a month ago.
The Simpsons Ride had some interesting things which would work well in a circus environment.
Here's the Simpsons Ticket Booth.
Not the best picture but it'll give you an idea .

Dont just do a circus, i went to a haunted trail last year and the theme was a carnival. one of the best parts was when you entered the freakshow area. you just get a guy to say "step right up and see the amazing limbless man" or something like that, you could also say that the freakshows escaped and they can be scattered through your haunt. Hope this helps. POST PICS!
