well we worked on this saturday , i am putting a pic of the cage i used (the before pic) because i couldnt find a decorative cage anywhere in stores so since i had this cage i tough of a way to makee it look more fit for a manor

i painted it black , the gothic trim is done with plastic fencing type i bought at the dollar store early spring , the bat is an animated gemmy bat .

i will be adding a black skirt to the stand, of course a pile of bat poop and a bol of red blood (need to find a nice little bol) , and if i can find an old padlock to lock the cage and am trying to see where i can hide a little blue light to light up the bat inside .

    Looks really cool!
And contrasts nicely against the orange curtains in the background.

Very nice AWFC, the only problem I have is that everytime someone adds a new prop, I get a "I want to make that" and the list gets longer.

    Damn creative people !!!

it is not really hard i would tell you but my husband when i requested this said to me " why do you keep asking me the impossible things " .....lol

their plastic stips from the dollar stores that wore in the garden section sold as fencing all we did is heat them a bit with a torch to be able to bend them a round shape a bit for the top of the cage , we drilled a little hole in the top plastic of the cage and the plastic strip and attached it with a wire that i painted black so you dont see it or barely ......the base is a 2 x 2 and plywood , we used a wire hanger to draw a triangle shape and cut in the plywood we glued and mailed them , then i hot glues the gothic trim around because nailing it would make the plastic crack. (my black gothic plastic stips wore 22 inches long so you dont see it in the pictures but i have a space between 2 of them because it didnt go all the way around with just one but in a darker room i dont think people will notice as much .
