I want to have splatters of glowing "blood" and other fluids around my haunt. In the past I've activated glow sticks, cut them open and then strained out the fluid. I was wondering if anyone knew of a better way (like a source for the reactants)?
Thanks!

Glow in the dark paint will accomplish the same effect.
Can be bought just about anywhere.

they also have a small can of glow in the dark spray paint at walmart, I believe it was 4 bucks.

•liquid fabric softener
•most detergents, mixed with water (I had some overspray from when I was spraying down my flying crank ghost, and the droplets all glowed very brightly)
•Woolight
I know most of those last a long time on fabric, but not sure on hard surfaces... wouldn't hurt to test, since most people have those in their house anyway!

Thanks for the replies. I'm not looking for something glow-in-the-dark or blacklight activated. I need something to glow brightly with no charging or light source. Some areas will need to be red and other green.
The glow sticks "juice" works great but it's a bit of a hassle and a little pricey. That's why I was curious.

One year I wore a full body chem suit and splatter two glow sticks on me. Worked great and cost me $2 and 3 minutes of my time.

Doh! Utter failure! I tried it tonight and when it's on concrete the reaction stops after a short period. Works fine on plastic but that's not going to help me.
Bummer!
