This is the new tombstone that I just made:

I know the photo sucks, so I'll take a new one tomorrow in the daylight.
I finished it with the Keeba method, and added moss to it.

Sure as long as you don't mind pink foam as the core to your stone...

And Evil, as far as a how-to is concerned, I haven't finished my first one yet, but if I make another stone before the Big Night (most likely yes, that is) then I'll do pics and a how-to, but I highly recomend that you look at Keeba's web how-to here:
    Keebas tombstones

This is where I learned my tombstones from, and the weeping willow just takes practice and a dremel with carving tools for wood.

Very nice detail. i wish I had the time to do detail on mine but it wasw an issue with qauntity. I have well over 20 and probaly almost 40 for this year (hopefully) detail for that many is just out of the question.
    Can you stake my heart?

Beautiful work Partsman! I love, love a great tombstone. Keeba's site is the best, I agree. Wonderful, easy instructions and great examples. I go back every now and then as a refresher and find something I forgot. Your tombstone really is wonderful!

Yeah I know what you mean about quantity, but I only add 1-2 stones a year.

Very nice, I like the moss as well. It also looks like you have some sort of texture on it?

Nope, no texture, just aged the foam by wetting it and using the heat gun on it then painted it black, then sprayed grey spay paint into a stream of water to give it the aged stone appearance. Go back a few posts in this thread and look for the link to Keeba's web site, she can explain it much better than I can, but it really is a great technique. Weather you paint the stone white first and then use the black in water method or black first and the grey in water method, both come out looking great.
I am partial to the slate tomb stones in cemetaries, so I usually go with the black first, then spray grey primer into the stream of water over the stone to give it the look of slate, but if you like the white tombstones at the cemetary, then paint it white first and spray black of grey into the stream of water to age the 'stone.'
