We have bought the stuff to make our peppers ghost and I was just wondering if anyone had a video of a skeleton rising up out of the ground they could share or maybe a link to something we could download.

just bones. sheet over bone, or zombie like corps?

We just want a skeleton. We have one we were planning to use. I have video equipment and such, but I'm guessing it would take a considerable amount of experimenting to get it right.

My wife the designer, just wants him rising vertically out of the ground and maybe looking back and forth. That'd be cool if you can do it. I was thinking that someone might already have something. Most haunters are pretty busy with their own stuff this time of year.

So you are projecting a video onto a screen that the glass will reflect? If so, make a black back ground add your lighting and film you raising the skeleton. Maybe have someone with black gloves and sleeves to turn the head. Your video should only show the skeleton in the reflection. I would have all of the lights out except for skeleton lighting. Could I get a copy as well?

Do you think a portable DVD Player w/ 7" screen is large enough? Otherwise I have a small 12" TV.

The smaller the TV the smaller the image. Also, the further away the TV is from the glass the smaller the image will be, all things to keep in mind. Otherwise, it should work fine.

Rendering is about half way.
I'll post a demo in my photo bucket so you can see it. and it you want to add EFXs you can let me know. I can add some black to both sides to help with a loop too.

A demo? I guess this means you will be charging for it? If so, how much?
