I'd like to get mine going again, but can't figure out a good place to mount it all in the yard.

I have done this since 1988 and I've tried every line conceivable. From 1/16" steel cable to spiderwire. This year I got a deal on ebay for some .o46 coated cable. It is black and was $17 for 300' shipped. I stretch it really tight with no springs and have run it about 15 hours so far with only one problem. One of the ghost robes snagged on the cable and started to roll up on the line. Other than that no problems. The motor is up on the garage roof and I have five more wheels. Glad you like it.
