I made a haunted mirror this year for the house. It uses a laptop and a motion sensor to play random clips I made when a person looks in the mirror. The mirror itself is a piece of two way glass in a frame with a "vanity "to hide the laptop.

How is it triggered? Do you have any problems with the laptop overheating encased like that?

I have space under the case frame to allow heat and airflow. The trigger is a webcam that acts as a motion sensor. Software called EVOcam was what I used (Mac only-sorry pc people)
