Made this one today... these are display case light bulbs you can get at Lowes or Home Depot. I think it will look great with my mad scientist setup... it was very easy to make, and i think the hardest part was finding a good enough pre-made box at the craft store for it. Drilling the holes and adding the dimmer were all easy.

awfc, yeah I'm thinking about it. I'm doing a little haunted garage/cemetary. so in the garage i'll have a little mad lab setup, and some other little spooky things here and there.
I've got a brain in the jar (sort of like yours except i can't get mine to be waterproof where i drilled the holes!), these lights here, and i'm working on a jacob's ladder now too. I have some beakers with highlighter fluid in them too, so they'll glow with the black light.
