I'm a fan of Spooky Blues props. He makes it all look so easy!
Anyhow, here is my interpretation of "Grumble". Still needs a dozen or so coats of sealer, but almost done.

Man that's great. Are you going to have a light inside the face?

I may...haven't decided yet. I have a streetlight right in my yard and one year I painted the backside black. So now, it gives a pretty neat light effect to the yard props.

Thank you all. We're pretty fortunate that others are willing to share their ideas and how-tos. Otherwise, I know I would be majorly screwed! I just don't have the imagination to come up with stuff like that!
Anyway, I just used chicken wire for my base(head). It's really pretty easy to shape . Just like he mentioned on his site though, you need to cut some "relief" cuts in the wire to get a round shape.
Then, per instructions, I just went over the whole thing with duct tape to get a flat(er) surface. Then on to three coats of paper mache.
I can go into more detail(pm me), but if I can do it, I know you can!
Oh, and stock up on band-aids.......you're gonna need 'em!
Edit: HLMN, thats pretty cool....looks like he just sprouted and looking to stir up some trouble!
