If anyone has figured out a way to stop that gawd awful song on the animated owls from Lowes BUT keep the hooting....please share!
Why do they ruin a good prop like that!!!!!

I finally pried the bottom off mine today. I experimented with it some, but ended up just cutting one of the speaker wires so it won't make any sound.
It's too bad, because it will just hoot, but the next time it's triggered it plays that LOUD song.
I'll have to PM Otaku. He might have some ideas.

Men At Work and NOT Speedy Gonzales...LOL!!!

Saw these today, looked great until I heard them, haha. Seriously, why can't they just make it hoot? Do they really have to make it play horrible music, lol.

I'd just cut the wire and try to rig up an mp3 player to it with realistic owl noises.

I liked it until i heard that song =[ way to ruin a good looking prop. They are only 5$? that is a good deal though. Why would they play that song? How does it have anything to do with owls?

OMG, that's horrible. What a waste of a good prop. There's gotta be a way to hack that thing.
