I need to make bed posts for my cardboard bed

Its for the Exorcist costume and I need something light as well because its gonna be attached to the cardboard bed and Ill have to carry the bed around at a nightclub.

I know u can get some cardboard tubes but I dunno what to use? I dont wanna spend much at all since Im doing a lot of details

I would go to a home decorating fabric store and see if you can pick up some old heavy duty cardboard tubes they use inside the fabric roll. Cut them to whatever size you need, and then just simply glue some large Styrofoam balls on the top and paint.

Use the tubes. Don't pay for them - there are too many free ones floating around. like Dark Star said, go to the fabric store. Try art supply stores, carpet places - even the big name home improvement stores - just ask for vinyl/carpet rolls. My wife is an engineer and gets those tubes all the time from blueprints, mapping, etc, etc. She can always get her hands on some - try everywhere.
