Thread: Help: Dried Blood effects

I've been looking through the Tutorial/StepxStep board and can't find what I need, so maybe someone can help me out...

Recently I purchased some replica claws and teeth from a taxidermy supplier and want to use the as a prop for a Halloween display. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any good dried blood recipes or products. By "dried," I mean a reddish-brown, flaky, crackly, matte/satin, and all-together icky mess of bloody smears.

Ben nye has some stuff called fresh scab. Says that is never really sets but the outer layer scabs. Something like that? I havent tried it yet but i havent been dissapointed by their products yet.
