I saw this idea a couple of years ago, and after an extensive search for the right cage, here is "Vlad". He still needs a bit of tweaking but for the most part he is done.

you beat me to it lol i too was doing one with an animated bat i just cannot find a neat cage like this lol so i guess great minds think alike hehehehe

it looks WONDERFULL , i love it and love that cage ....

Mine doesn't move, but another member was working on one at the same time I was, and he is using a vibrating device to make it shake which is too cool. here is the link to his site.

Wow smokes that is a super idea! Love the cage. I'm glad you took time on this. That is just freaking cool. Also, for anyone that's looking for those bats, they have them at big lots for $12.00 but even better they have them at wal-greens for $7.99.

i have a gemmy animated bat i got this year and you can hang it upside down , it as a sensor so it flap its wings and makes sounds like this one i found on you tube YouTube - bat , you can adjust the wigs a bit to get it in the upside down position with wings closed and they still will flap
