Thread: big lots 'kicking legs'

Ive been wanting kicking legs for a while now but with me being mechanically challenged the chances of me getting them were slim to none. Then today I went in big lots low and behold there they were kicking legs!! I was soooooo excited, just had to have them and got the LAST one. I rushed home and heres what I ended up with. Im sure the legs are not as good as the DIY ones but Im happy with them They are not very impressive laying in my kitchen floor lol but once I get them in the spider lair I just know they'll be fabulous

Nice use of the kicking legs. I got them last year at Kroger's grocery and used them in a vampire scene.

That's a good idea! I actually bought kicking legs last year at Wal-Mart but ended up returning them because I had no idea what to use them for.

I paid $39 at Kroger's last year but they may be "improved" this year and therefore, sell for more.

Just goes to show how corporations steal home haunters ideas and market them..of course we ALL know Scary Terry invented those...riiight? Oh well, at least those less mechanically inclined to build them can have a chance to own them, but I seriously doubt ST was reimbursed at all for the idea.

If I were to create these myself, does anyone know what price range the entire project is?

Just looking at the thread gave me a simple idea for next year where I have a 'pirate' face down in a barrel with his legs kicking up in the air.
