    Didn't know if anyone saw this, but Harbor Freight has a foot switch that can be adapted for triggering props/lights

    Yep, bought a few a while back to try. They are pretty flimsy (thin vinyl) and the usable cord is only 2 feet long. You will most likely need to beef it up and add some heavier wire. If you use the long very thin alarm wire it comes with, it may not trigger a prop properly because of voltage drop. Not as good as mats sold elsewhere.

    are you sure its the same one? The website says the cord is 7 feet, and it looks pretty thick to me, plus it runs on 110 V.

    haha i know what both of you are talking about and they are 2 different things lol

    first post is a foot switch that is currently on sale it is for 120v for operating things like grinders,sanders, etc.

    second post is talking about a pressure mat alarm that when stepped on triggers a small alarm.
