Yep, bought a few a while back to try. They are pretty flimsy (thin vinyl) and the usable cord is only 2 feet long. You will most likely need to beef it up and add some heavier wire. If you use the long very thin alarm wire it comes with, it may not trigger a prop properly because of voltage drop. Not as good as mats sold elsewhere.

haha i know what both of you are talking about and they are 2 different things lol
first post is a foot switch that is currently on sale it is for 120v for operating things like grinders,sanders, etc.

second post is talking about a pressure mat alarm that when stepped on triggers a small alarm.

Ooooops....I was looking at two different links and was referring to the pressure mat only. The foot switch looks like it should work.
