Ok so imagine your wish comes true and Santa brings you that container.
Next question is, where do you put it?

Well yeah, I'd love one too... But how much stuff could you store in one of those? I mean, you can't store the latex props, you can't store the rigid foam props (like the Count and Deadeye), you can't store the masks or the clothes (well, okay you could store the clothes, they ARE supposed to look ratty and moth eaten...), and you can't store the papier mache...

If Santa Baby reeeeeeally loves me, he's gonna bring me a FREE air-conditioned storage unit!

MsMeeple, if one of those showed up in my yard I'd have to live in it or move to the netherlands!

Screem Queen, Adds HVAC unit to the containert, besides hey should be water tight and I don't expect that they get any hotter then the attic. Great or those big props(hearse, columns, fence, crypt, organs, organ pipes etc) I usually keep the electronics inside along with the more expensive props. Just dreaming anyway

Well you could move to the netherlands AND live in a container. This is student housing in the city where I live. No joke. And they pay out the a$$ to live in one. Its like 350 euro per month.

Seriously, I have talked about taking empty containers and outfitting them here in the States and sending them back to China or Japan. My idea was not to stack them but to build a steel or concrete frame and then have a lift to raise the container and slide it into its nich. plug in the utilities and off you go....I figured that there has to be a ton of ships returning near empty to China. Kind of like ordering a car pick the options and wait for it to be delivered. Get tired of it order a new one.
